    This season

No matter the out come of the final two matches.

No matter if we finish up 2nd or 5th

And despite the few bad runs and few bad unexpected results, Eddie and the players have proved we can do it.

With probably the weakest back up squad of the top competitive teams we have come through.

This leaves me to feel that in three to four windows with the squad improved, as it has with previous shrewd purchases we will be almost as strong as any club in the division and quite capable of putting out a starting eleven to equal any other.

Quite agree (just said similar on another thread before reading yours). Its been a crazy and very good (for the neutral) season in the PL. Two cartel clubs toiling badly and a very close fight to the end of the season at the top between 6 clubs. It could only be better if the title wasnt decided yet and the top 5 or 6 were still in with a chance.

Aye and if there was still a shot at Spurs and Man Yoo getting relegated.

Absolutely, this is what the Premier League should be, not a closed from a corruption benefitting the cartel.

    Long may it continue!

The difference between finishing 2nd and 5th is about ?10m-?12m. That's a years wages for an elite player. Pays for Isak's new contract.

Qualification for the UCL is pretty much in the bag, Auld Moyes has Everton hard to beat once again, they'll not go quietly in the dark night of summer. We can't count out chickens, It would be fantastic to beat Arsenal 4 times in one season and also to beat them home and away in the Prem for the first time in I don't know how long!
