Tonight?s referee Nick Walsh should never referee another SPFL match and he should be permanently sacked as a referee with immediate effect.
[QUOTE=parcbara;40706568]An appalling decision, but it changes nothing now. VAR in Scotland is amatuer.Walsh is a t!t. THe SFA will do nothing. IS that to repay our manager for complaining?[/QUOTE
In my opinion we have suffered shocking refereeing decisions ever since we managed to stay up despite our draconian 25 points deduction during the Deefiant season.
I keep hoping that the referees in Scotland will go on strike because football supporters and TV pundits continually highlight their incompetence. Then we can again bring in foreign referees who know and enforce the correct rules.
I watched the penalty incident on TV, it was a scandalous decision.
However if every referee that made these decisions was told he couldn't referee again and should be sacked, as you keep calling for every time a decision goes against Dundee, we'd have none left because every one of them is shocking.
I enclose Nick Walsh’s Wikipedia page where you will read that he has been involved in controversial decisions during the past 12 months both in refereeing Scottish football matches and Europa League matches. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Walsh_(referee)
The SFA and their referees supervisor appear to be happy to turn a blind eye to all the controversial decisions made by Nick Walsh whereas in a normal business he would be sent for a period of retraining or handed his P45.
I have just come across the enclosed information about Nick Walsh who is the Depute Head Teacher at Boclair Academy. https://videocelts.com/2021/10/blogs...x-connections/
Boclair Academy have a tie up with the coaching of Rangers Academy players and he should not be refereeing football matches in the SPFL Premier League due to a conflict of interest.
Afternoon Islay. If you could bring yourself to think that referees in Scotland are people with integrity and give them the benefit of the doubt might this encourage you to look at our team and manager and come to a conclusion, that we are where we are because of poor play, poor managerial decisions and less than ideal recruitment?
Just hoping that we beat St J 1-0 !
I have just noticed your post and yesterday’s game resulted in a 2-0 with no controversial decisions by Steven McLean despite his previous track record being in charge of games involving Dundee FC.
You might remember Neil McCann getting the sack as manager of Dundee Football Club as a result of Steven McLean awarding Kilmarnock a penalty when the Kilmarnock player Jordan Jones ‘dived’ in the penalty box to win a penalty. We lost the game 2-1 despite taking the lead.
It was discovered that Steven McLean’s father is a former Kilmarnock player and a member of the Kilmarnock FC Hall of Fame.
In my opinion all SPFL referees should have to declare which football team they support and any family connections with an SPFL football club.
