Leeds United have today released a statement regarding club captain Ethan Ampadu. An image of Ampadu?s son wearing a Galatasaray kit was circulated on social media by Ampadu?s former partner.
Leeds say that Ampadu is "aware of and sensitive to" the tragic murder of United fans Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight, who were murdered in Istanbul in 2000 on the eve of their club?s UEFA Cup tie against the Turkish club. The statement read: "Leeds United are aware of an image circulating online of Ethan Ampadu?s son.
