Thread: A PSG masterclass.

    A PSG masterclass.

Alan Pace has expressed aspirations of Burnley winning the Champions League.

After watching PSG hammer Inter Milan 5-0, I can't see us winning it in my lifetime.

All the pundits are raving about the PSG approach of direct attacking football instead of the tippy tappy farting about where possession is king. They use wingers in the old fashioned sense and have players who can dribble past defenders (as per the Tin man's dropped shoulder technique). Footballs coming back, can Parky bring it to Burnley?

PSG were good but Milan were naive to play and set up like they did ( not that we?d have bossed the game mind ) .
Just feel Milan didn?t give themselves a fair chance

It was like watching stinging bees buzz around a lazy cat. I'm glad we won't be playing that lot anytime soon.

Inter went Unter almost as rapidly as the referee disappeared down the tunnel after blowing the final whistle with exactly ZERO added on minutes.

THe 4th official and the two benches more than likely agreed that there was no point in playing any added time because the result was decided and the extra time could lead to silly injuries etc. There was nothing to be gained by playing longer than the 90 minutes and common sense prevailed. Well done PSG and Mister Kovacs and team.

Inter had taken enough punishment, the referee threw in the white towel. Good call.
