Not with a fan base like ours...

I have been pretty unimpressed with the quality and thoughtfulness of Notts' comms recently. From playoff tickets to end of season updates, they seem happy to leave fans hanging. Even holding statements can make a difference.

My personal view is this is coming from the CEO. Club Comms definitely changed since Jason Turner sadly passed away

I'd agree with that. There is certainly less engagement these days and the whole playoff campaign felt cold. It's like a general malaise fell over the club for the last 6 months of Maynard's reign. Hopefully the new boss will inject a bit of positivity again.

Is Nick Richardson still at the club? Don't hear much from him these days if so?

I have to agree. I got the definite impression that the club "establishment" would have been happy to see The Nest winning the "Player of the Year" accolade

Here's what Notts have tweeted since the semis:

May 20 - Retained list / bye to the four
    May 22 - Maynard leaving
    May 27 - Heritage survey
May 29 - Retweet - England at the Nest
    May 31 - Didzy leaving
    June 2 - Morias leaving

Six tweets, four about depatures from the club (and only statements from the board).

What we could have had during this time:
    - The tribute to Didzy, reposted
    - A goodbye from George Abbott
    - A word about the season from Palmer (or Bass, or Bedeau, or who knows?)
    - An update on the managerial hunt
    - The review of last season
    - A reflection on a year of the Nest
    - Padel for summer
    - An update on the kit
    - A review of the U18s' season - and intro to some of the 9(!!!) academy players offered professional contracts
    - A tribute to the groundskeepers and their recognition for keeping the pitch looking pretty decent
    - Congratulations to clubs getting promoted
    - Banter with Forest about their return to the Conference
    - Showcasing the Notts County Foundation
    - Thanking the police, particularly Notts' Supporter Liaison Officer
    - Parking for the Other Notts

I mean, who the heck knows? But a bit of buzz would take the edge off at least.
