Thread: Hartman from Feyenoord..?

    Red face Hartman from Feyenoord..?

Rumours from Holland are that Burnley want a new left back and Hartman takes our fancy.

It's like last season, we're after players for all positions except a centre forward.

Oh God. That didn’t last long. Foster is back on the agenda and we haven’t even begun pre-season.

Are we buying another pup here ? A brilliant prospect a couple of seasons ago, out with the dreaded cruciate ligament, and then when he's 'fully fit' again he can't keep his place in the team and Feyenoord seem happy to let him go. Do we need another potential sick note on our books ?

He's a Burnley player for God's sake Sir Outwood, surely I can remind everyone he's still with us?

How's about "Inchy" for his Claret nickname? I can't imagine "Quilindschy" being shouted out from the Turf Moor terraces.

I’d do it and I have a very loud voice if you ask the Outwood girls.

Reports suggest terms and fees are all agreed. Inchy is having his medical on Tuesday. Parker was apparently keen to sign this lad and do doubt Inchy and Pires will have to fight over a starting shirt for the left back position. What can possibly go wrong?

If this lad isn't a step up on Pires, we shouldn't be going near him.
