....as the Tremeloes once sang, or is it?

If anyone caught Matt Hamshaw being interviewed on Radio Sheffield last Thursday evening, he was of course asked how the recruitment was going but didn't have a lot to say, jovial replies playing it all down etc. He did though say he was pleased with the way things are progressing.

I suppose when you compare the glut fest of Evans recruitment inside three weeks last pre season, compared to this, they are poles apart. The expectations of Millers fans now though must be raising an eyebrow as to our inductees so far, one!

The Humphreys, Kayode and McGuckin saga rolls on, what happened to deadlines, take it or leave?

A lot of Millers fans myself included, are wondering what's really going off behind the closed doors at NYS? They say patience is required fair point but, with the new season due to kick off in less than 6 weeks you would have thought some other updates would be appreciated. After all doesn't the signing of new recruits encourage ST sales?

On the injury front, how's Zak Jules the forgotten man? We know of Raggett's possible return but not while September, if he ever does. Got to feel for him, a nasty injury that may well end his career.

On a positive, I feel rather buoyant on Matt Hamshaw being brought in, well anything is better than that shambles last season. He now has a full backroom staff along with a new physio on board and good luck to them all in making it all gel and work.

Just announce something though to wet our appetite.
