    U21s

Yet another final reached. A lot of young talent and some of it came through Leeds. Also nice to see some of the Leeds youngsters playing for other top sides too (Spain and Italy)

We do have a very good academy. A great building block.

Yes, so I heard there was going to be a production line for the seniors, but where is the end result? Ohh, and yes, under 21s are just tiny little youngsters who haven't bloomed.

Many good teams have great academies. It's the building block for young talent. They may only use them as trade bait or developing coach and staff but it's a critical component to long term success.

Even if one or two come out of it a year it's still a great value. It also helps develop ties to the community as many youth come from the immediate area (support base).

Like planting a good hardwood tree. You may never see it at it's full maturity but the next generation will.

Also requires the manager at the time to give them minutes to progress when ready ?.

"Some people can't help but spread kindness and joy - others not so much". Pan, kettle, black?

I and Oz (and others) said much the same about Farke and had you and the rest of his apologists accuse us of being "negheads". Join the club.

It won't change as long as he's there and the 49ers Enterprises fail to act. Hence why I prefer to pay more attention to a club with real ambition.

And FWIW, Phil Parkinson achieved tgree promotions before he went to Wrexham and then achieved THREE MORE back to back to back, with a playing squad that still has players from non-league and Div 2 days. Farke wouldn't have a clue.

Insult people > get offended at the reponse > flounce > profess never to return> return
