    Well done Carso...

... and the England U21 squad. Winning the U21 Euros isn't easy. Winning back to back Euros is amazing. Especially when you miss out on players of the calibre of Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Adam Wharton, Jobe Bellingham, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jarrad Branthwaite. Most, if not all, of those would have been starters which makes the success even better.

Once a Ram always a Ram.

The women's team would disagree as I believe they have done it too - not that I watched any of it. Somehow it doesnt strike a chord or attract my interest despite evident success.

    The lads did it first

Remiss of me not to start a thread to the ladies success. Well deserved. I watched the Netherlands games until they got knocked out and the England games to the bitter sweet end. Poor against France. Improved and showed true grit to get through and then win the final. Special mention to Lucia Roberta Tough Bronze who did her third name proud having played the entire competition with a fractured tibia.
