Good luck with him, 1 of the worst forwards I have seen at Oakwell.

Sam Dalby was the worst striker at Wrexham.

That worked out fine in the end.

When you sign a player on loan from a side as bad as Barnsley it is a worry but our manager is brilliant at polishing up English turds and he will be a better player on his return i promise you.Its a big move up for Max though and i hope he is aware that our first competitive games are on the european stage.

I remember being underwhelmed when we signed olofson, Daly and dalby, they all turned out to be great signings, saying that, they were all big physical players with the attributes to thrive in Scottish football. Let's hope this isn't a well down the list, running out of time and options signing plot (or alex grieve level)and maybe with some confidence restored and point to prove he will thrive. Suspect we have bigger targets we hope to secure towards end of transfer window.

If he is better than Alex Mathie, Warren Feeney and Roy O'Donovan, that'll do for me. The money we paid for Mathie must be one of the worst transfers in the history of DUFC.

Just waiting on the new younger version of Alen Boksic or Gonzalo Higuain to sign.

Might be rubbish with Barnsley but if the big centre forward puts himself about and lets the centre-half know he is in for a game that is good enough for me.

Now who sang that song "If its good enough for me.....
