Totally hyped for this. Flying out Tuesday and one of the lucky bassas to actually have a ticket for the match. I was never one coming out with outrageous predictions like 8-0 United that some on social media were spouting, but nor was I expecting things to be as tight as they are at HT in the tie. In reality, Strassen were at a Livingston/Ross County/St Johnstone level and we know how tight games against that lot always are. Was hoping to have a carefree jolly on the piss for a few days but now Thursday night has a lot on the line.

I’m at a stage currently where it’s simply get a result, any result. I’m really not bothered how we do it because anything else could have a seriously detrimental effect moving in to the new season - we saw it three years ago and given the run of fixtures we have to start the league campaign, there is potential for similar if we’re not careful.

Line up - who knows? I’m not sure JG even knows yet. Likely same at the back but beyond that it could be anyone’s guess. First goal will be v1tal - we get it and I think we’re fine. Other way round, well………..

Either way, will absolutely have a great time - two years ago started in the Station Bar in Arbroath. This year it’s (almost) starting in Luxembourg City. It’s been some ride………..

Indeed , echo this and I'm quietly confident we can and will be better over there, I think back to falkirk away last year's opener

We will surely look less disjointed and more in sync with more games, slight tweak to system and line up and more sharpness with the passing week help

Still think it will be a nervy evening but fancy us to buck the trend of poor Scottish results in Luxembourg

All Arabs have a great Euro trip and hope you have a good result, had my 1st Euro away game to Rome just over 40 years ago, a week on a bus there and back with an away game at motherwell on arrival back in Scotland. Dont know how we all survived that trip.
