    And so it turned out. They were a class above Swansea and were cruising 3-0 at half-time, one a penalty.
    A slick passing all out attacking side they gave the Swans a football lesson and created chances with ease.
    Second-half they took their foot off the gas. Cullen scored but ruled offside, looked onside from where I was.
    Then Ronald was upended in the area and Cullen put the penalty away to make it 3-1 and that was the final score.
    We look blunt up front and weak defensively with only a week to go before the season starts.

    Lorient a really good team and will be playing the likes of PSG this season, no shame in losing to them.
    This is the standard of friendly we need to be playing more in pre-season to test ourselves properly.

    Weakness in squad cover apparent and has not been addressed with only a week to go for the season opener.
    We need a striker and centre-back as a priority. Hopefully movement in the next few days.
