I don't get that. I get a verification page which delays access by about 20 seconds.

I use ublock origin on my desktop and Opera browser on my android mobile. Never bothered with ads.

I use Brave on my phone, cuts out everything, yet..... I still see ADS.

On IOS - Orion Browser and then install google extension UBLOCK origin - blocks everything here well
I use ublock origin with firefox, edge and it blocks every ad.

It's not supported in chrome any more though I believe.
