    Jacob Ramsey

Here we go, as they say...

Weird signing. With Gordon and Barnes already in his position.

Would have preferd a CM, but ofcourse its a matter of whos availble too...

Could it be Eddies OCD? At least we can play "Jacob Xxxxxy" on both wings in the cup...😂

He plays in the middle, not on the wing.

He?s rarely played further up, but his main spot is left side on midfield.

I think he's basically a better version of Willock with potential to improve even further.

    This basically.

Also - maybe having some solid competition will support Willock in not getting injured so often.

Sadly for Joe it just hasn't worked out with his fitness.

Next summer or in Jan we could see him leave.

Pictured at St. James today - I assume for photos.

    He was wearing number 41.

I’d rather have Longstaff stay and Willock to be sold, tbh

I’d still not be massively surprised if the total package for Isak ends up being 100m + Elliot… and Willock will be gone in Jan with Ramsey about to sign (who will play in the left of midfield where Willock normally would come in, and with Park Seung-Soo that back-up back-up left wing spot is covered)

If we had a midfield which had Ramsey, Elliot and Miley, plus Harrison, rotating in, and maybe Schar stepping up to midfield to cover for Tonali if/where needed, I think the midfield could be a lot better covered than last season.

I?d have Elliott - mind he might not want to come in and play second fiddle - think he?d want to be a starter
