Charlton fully earned their point against Bristol City in a goalless draw at Ashton Gate.

They were able to hold their own against a team that beat Sheffield United 4-1 last week away from home.

The first half was a solid Add1cks performance. The hosts dominated the opening period. Sonny Carey sliced a shot wide.

The second half Charlton showed more of their attacking intent. Rob Apter forced a save from Vitek in goal for BC. Charlton hit the woodwork from a Miles Leaburn cross. The momentum swung between both sides. Charlton came closest to a goal in the first minute of added time when Harvey Knibbs effort was smothered by the keeper crowning an excellent away performance.
