    Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea

Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City Sat 30 Aug 15:00
There is turmoil at Hillsborough with players not being paid and several of them leaving, plus a transfer embargo.
Kristian Pedersen stepped up and was appointed head-coach after Danny Rohl’s departure
Fresh from their shock win in the League Cup they will be wanting to carry on that momentum into the Swansea match. Relying on youth they played five players under 20 and held PL side Leeds to a 1-1 draw. Leeds subsequently missed three penalties in the shoot out for Wednesday to go through to the next round.
In the league The Owls were beaten 2-1 at Leicester in their opening game then lost 3-0 at home to Stoke.
They managed to come from 2-0 down away at Wrexham last time out in the league to pick up a point, veteran Barry Bannon and Bailey Cadamarteri getting the goals.
For the Swans, Eom and Fulton are doubtful after knocks in the Plymouth game.

Mostly boring football. A few half chances for Swansea but we are woeful up front.
    The second-half gets under way.

81’ Ronald close range shot in front of goal, assist from Vipotnik.
    Much better from Swansea second-half.
    82’ Cullen on for Vipotnik.

Wow, we scored two goals and plenty of other chances to score more, well done Swans.
Sheff Wed are in trouble and without a league win.
Vipotnik scores again, he can’t be leaving surely?

17 shots, 8 on target and up to 7th in the table.
Vipotnik scores for the third game in a row and gets an assist.
Still not conceded from open play.
    Happy weekend guys!
The International break is upon us.
