    Wissa and Woltemade

Those two together are much better value for money than the sneaky snake, and the bonus is that there's a few million left over

I think we way over paid for Wissa. We need more goals from our midfielder and wingers if we are going to do anything this season

Well, 55 million does seem a hell of a lot. I suppose that, if Isak was determined never to play for us again, then we were in pretty dire need of another striker, especially one with premiership experience. So I guess that selling Isak to Liverpool, releasing the funds to offer Brentford 55 million, was a logical thing to do. But I sure as hell don't like it...........

Not too sure… last season Wissa scored the same number of goals from open play that Isak did in Prem games (19), it’s just Isak takes pens (to bump his total to 23) and Wissa wasn’t on pen duty.

He’s 29 this week, but has got a very good injury history… 2 ankle knocks in total over his career, whereas Isak has muscular issues (especially groin) on a regular basis.

Can expect a good few years out of him on that basis, and by the time he is losing his pace Woltemade will be up to speed and we can plan to replace him better… little sell on value, but he comes with Prem experience… and when you look at Gyokeres and Sesko that’s worth a fair bit.

I think Wissa is more than a decent upgrade on Wilson. In fact, he's the fit version of prime Wilson, the way I see it.

His age doesn't bother me either. We could sign another 19 year-old, but we wouldn't get the same level of experience which we need for the coming season. Good signing. Fair price in the inflated market.

Even at 29 there's 3 good seasons in him. Look at Callum Wilson until very recently is still a good scorer at 30+ however he just couldn't stay fit. Wissa has demonstrated that he knows where the goal is and his injury record is very good.
It's all left a very bad taste but maybe we are a more rounded team with these 2. I hope the rat turns out to be as good for the bindippers as Andy carroll turned out to be.

That?s it for me, Wissa doesn?t have penalties to boost his numbers.

Players a good going to 35 these days, he might not have a sell on value, but that doesn?t mean he won?t be invaluable to us.

19 goals - makes up for what we have just lost in

He?s one to hopefully hit the ground running so we dont shatter Woltermades confidence with all the pressure needed to adapt to the premier league.
