    RIP Billy Vigar, aged 21

On loan to us from the Arsenal Academy for 6 months in 2023.

On 20 September 2025, Vigar crashed into a concrete wall by accident during an Isthmian League match against Wingate & Finchley and sustained a life-threatening brain injury. He was placed into a induced coma and surgically intervened upon, but died on 25 September 2025.

    RIP young man.

There's a petition running to get brick (I'd suggest also concrete and breeze block) surrounds to football pitches banned. One worth the 20 seconds it takes to sign, IMO. I've done it.

Absolutely tragic, a young man dies playing the sport he loved. Condolences to his family and friends.
