    Charlton v Swansea

    Charlton v Swansea Sat 1 Nov 15:00
Back to league action this Saturday and we are off up the M4.
After playing Wednesday night the team have to travel on Friday to South East London and stay overnight, whilst opponents Charlton have had a week off.
Charlton are newcomers to the Championship after gaining promotion from League One through the play-offs last May. The Addicks have made a good start to the season and are in a play-off position at sixth in the table. Their ground is called The Valley and was once the highest capacity stadium in England at 75,000, but today it?s 27,000. Their local rivals are Millwall and Crystal Palace.
Their manager is Welshman Nathan Jones, a Cardiff City fan and he will be delighted if he can win this one. Their home record so far is P5 W3 D1 L1 F7 A3, Leicester being the only team to win there by the odd goal, so it will be tough to get anything there.

    FT: Charlton 1 (Kelman 46’) - Swansea 1 (Idah 64’)
Two poor sides first-half HT: 0-0
Second-half Swansea caught napping and within 10 seconds were behind.
64’ Idah who had done nothing much caught a through ball from Casey, turned the defenders and hit a right-footed shot past Kaminskin
65’ Swans were dominating especially when Widell and Inoussa came on, Widell, what a prospect he is, but why doesn’t he start, he was everywhere
64’ Idah who had done nothing much caught a through ball from Casey, turned the defenders and hit a right-footed shot past Kaminski.
We had chances to win it but poor finishing let us down.
Still a good point at Charlton, who had a great home record, only one defeat in the last twenty games.

Didn’t see the match, only the highlights. Should have won this, it’s two points dropped IMO.
Widell and Inoussa should be starting. We need some target practice, all those chances missed, Key especially.
Charlton were there for the taking and belied their strong home record. Idah finally came good, well taken goal

Ref bottled it on eight minutes, 3 Gillesphey fouled Eom, last man, should have been a red card and Charlton down to ten men.
