Firstly, I would say that I am no fan or supporter of Andrew. I do not think that he is a very nice individual and has led an entitled and privileged life.

Having said this, I do feel that he is being made a scapegoat for all the high profile individuals involved with the odious Epstein. It is pretty obvious that Trump is involved, otherwise surely all of the files on Epstein would have been released by now. Secondly, Andrew has not been found guilty of anything despite most of the population thinking that he was involved with this woman. Another point to be made is that if she was that unhappy with her situation surely she would have made greater efforts to remove herself. I do not feel that she is the complete innocent that she is being made out to be.

I also believe that it is wrong that he has been stripped of his military honours. After all he did serve with honour in the military on the front line in the Falklands War. His brother, Edward, still wears his military uniform despite the fact that could not hack it.

In no way am I defending Andrew or that he is innocent but I do feel that he is being made the fall guy for many others involved.

Horrible individual. It?s irrelevant whether she wanted to as she was groomed. At 17 in the U.K. or USA she was a school girl and he was over 40 so he?s a pervert.

There is more to come out about this and the notion that he had her social security number to ask others to investigate her is telling.

I see this a lot in cases like this. The abused should/could have done more to extract herself from this situation.
Truth is these people (Royalty,rice people) have criminal intentions and are exceedingly threatening in their positions of power. They are scum, plain and simple.
He was found guilty because someone paid £12 million to settle out of court. Nasty piece of shyte and should like many others have a criminal record attached to his name instead of false titals.

True Matt although I don?t idolise him as don?t have much of an opinion because he?s not our leader. He has curbed illegal immigration though in the US and even those over there who don?t like him were giving credit to him when touring this summer. Starmer is the worst PM in history for me to to think some liked Corbyn who is a very dangerous individual.

Aside from a few (not all by any means ) who served with him in the Falklands, I have not read anything by anyone that doesn't give the impression of Andrew as being much other than a self-entitled p r ick. I have no doubt that being a Royal "spare" can be difficult at times, regardless of all the money and privilege, but that can be no excuse.

Whilst he should be stripped of any ceremonial medals along with his titles and position, I do however agree with Leics that he should be able to retain any military medals he legitimately earnt during his service.

Is he a scape goat? No. He would be if Trump and others were not continually being linked with Epstein for example but the Orange One and his refusal to release the Epstein Files must be raised on virtually every left leaning US late night show whether Kimmel, Colbert, Stewart etc.

This is about Andrew and it's not just about his relationship with Epstein, it's about a whole raft of things including his links to a possible Chinese Spy and numerous instances of him abusing his position and status to feather his own nest. He may deny everything but he has been a long standing source of embarrassment to the Royal Family whose behaviour has been very damaging to them and brought their image and reputation into disrepute.

Both Charles and William have probably been pushing for this for some time. Long overdue and I have no sympathy for him.

What I just do not understand is that in an interview on TV a victim of Epstein was demanding that Andrew should go to the US and give evidence on all that he knew. I do not disagree with that but what I cannot come to terms with is that if she had been abused why does she not give the name of the abuser or abusers. It seems obvious to me.
