    Silverstone - gone

Silverstone is leaving the club and has gone on gardening leave.

New CEO has basically completed his review and culled Silverstone.

What I've heard (and I'm sure Raga can confirm/deny) is that he was told to go rather than be fired.

Hopkins and PIF not impressed with what he has achieved, feel more should have been done commercially.

Can't say that I overly disagree with that to be honest.

Hopefully we get someone in quickly to start making and doing deals.

This new fella (Hopkinson, is it?) isn't messing around, it would seem.

Aye - well Head of Womens team gone as well, quickly and despite all the good she did.

Although slightly different there, apperently this season their is plans to promote 2 clubs into prem and at minute we're looking well off mark.

    So guess that is why.

Just think, when our women's team gets into WSL we can sell them to ourselves

I touched on it in my Ramble.

The man was another blank. Did nothing.

Adidas deal - our kit deal with That prink Murray's company was a disaster and with NUFC going back to the top. It was a no brainer as Mehrdad said 'it's like 2 old lovers rekindling their relationship'

Guinness - POfficial Beer of the Premier League | Guinness? EN

So the thought that Silver did anything special here when several other Prem teams also got a direct sponsorship.

    He did nothing,

VISA - Anyone in the toon seen anything about Visa card in Newcastle city centre? Any Club / Visa promo material anywhere in the city or the groubd?

    NOOOOOOPE why is that?

Visa is the official FIFA partner. Visa users get early access to World Cup tickets. PIF invested 1B USD in the FIFA club world cup & has the FIFA WC Finals 2034 in Saudi. No doubt part of that agreement would have been a verbal for FIFA partners to be encouraged to sponsor NUFC.

Silverstone had nothing to do with that.

    Noon & SELA

Both middle east entities with PiF affiliation. They approached the club. The guy did nothing.

He was seen flogging discounted shirts in Seoul during the clubs Asia tour in summer. The Chief Commercial Officer, peddling Merch. Pathetic.

David Hopkinson being a commercial guy smelt a rat immediately.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish!
