    Some rearranged games

Albion have had four games selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports in January and February.

The Baggies? Hawthorns match against Middlesbrough has been moved to Friday, January 16, 2026 (ko 8pm).

Their trip to Derby County the following weekend has also switched to a Friday evening on January 23, 2026 (ko 8pm).

Meanwhile Albion?s away clash at Birmingham on Saturday, February 14, 2026, will now be a 12.30pm kick-off - as will the home fixture with Coventry City on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

All of the above games are being shown live on Sky Sports Football.

Gradually, over the last several years, there have been many of our neighbouring season tickets holders who terminated their ticket in view of the increasing number of non Saturday 3.00pm kick offs. Given the frustration over this years performances, these continual changes will not enhance ST sales.

I noticed last sat there were 3 championship games at 12:30 and the same again this weekend.
Not sure about other weekends but it's becoming the norm and for those travelling a distance must be a real pain.
They're slowly destroying the social aspect that brings people together before a match and the businesses that suffer from it.

Just read that Middlesborough have had 5 games rearranged in the same period, 3 being moved to Monday nights.

My sentiments precisely Prando. We do four a year and often now do not as the kick offs times do not really suit.

Saturdays 3pm is great for us, we can get up to the game in the morning and then return in the evening. It is a long day but we have Sunday to recover, albeit, we often have to work from home at the weekend depending on the good lady and my workload.

As the young ones have got older, it is getting more difficult because they have their own interests and are often not wanting to go to games. We can not leave them at home and I am not going on my own, so inevitably I guess, we may not purchase in the next season or so. Oh well, I will have to take up golf or something for the weekends instead.
