I had not believed a word that the BBC reporters state after Sarah Smith admitted to me in an email shortly before the 2016 EU referendum that she is told what to say by researchers. This means that these researchers are pushing their own political views and agenda by getting BBC reporters to state hat they are told to say even if it is wrong.
In the case of the duff report by Sarah Smith her researcher was a Remain supporter as the incorrect information stated by Sarah Smith made out that the EU was a lot better than they really were.

First time I have heard criticism of GBNews. Ofcom have allowed blatant political bias, by allowing them to have Reform politicians running their own programmes. The point being made that BBC and ITV have a level of scrutiny that is light years away from the complete lack of inyerference with GBNews.
MSM tries to be seen as factual and honest, so it needs to be supervised. GBNews does what it says on the tin and you know you are being fed a particular viewpoint.

The 21 year old person’s name was quoted on the BBC national news but there was no mention whether he is a white man or a non white man.

GB news has to have a left wing viewpoint, they call it the off com chair...folk like Butterworth and so on....so every night there is balance but there's no doubting the they hang to the right just as sky and the BBC are very left wing ...the BBC shud be neutral.....they are breaking their charter on a daily basis.

GB news also has to put up with advertisers on their channel being hounded by the mob and has a distinct disadvantage.

Some of the left guests GB news are worth listening to fire union chief, Scottish Labour guy....names escape me......but they two in particular are good at dealing in facts.

I find GB news has much more balanced debate than BBC question time or radio Scotland.
