    Cove this Saturday

Back to league business this weekend at home to Cove Rangers who had an excellent victory away to St Johnstone in the cup on Saturday.

3 points a must here. Sounds like Dickenson injury not as bad as it was feared & hopefully he features.

Inept performance today lacking passion and hunger. To start the way we did is inexcusable and shows a lack of leadership on and off the pitch. What a contrast Hartley was when compared with Murphy on the touchline. Hartley was bawling constantly encouraging his team while Murphy is quiet and passive. I would have Hartley over Murphy any day when it comes to driving a side on.

Just back in and reading Spike?s post makes my blood boil. What is the matter with Murphy? Is he not interested in trying his best?

Guys, I'll start this by saying I would (probably) rather Murphy moved on as well however...........when are you going to look at the players?

Surely a bit of professional pride has got to come into play. Lack of effort, second to every ball, misplaced passes, no tracking players. All these things Murphy can't influence when they cross that white line. The boy Guthrie needs better service for sure however for the the love of God work a bit harder and work the defenders

Got to agree with Spike and Three Five Two on both the managers input and the players performance. The first half effort was awful just jogging about. When that lack of work rate is allowed to carry on with little use of subs or changing starters we are in trouble. Kai put in the free kick for the late goal but service from wide was negligible. Smith needs a rest his body language is poor.
Ross Stewart played well and Benji and Brennan at least tried.
Emslie was good for Cove and nice to hear the passion from the bench from Hartley.
A chance for changes against the Pars we could even try two strikers or 4 workers in midfield.

What chance do we have when the manager thinks a point at home to a relegation play-off team is a good result. The end of his 2 year contract can?t come quick enough. We are going to be lucky to get crowds of 500 -750 with this clown in charge. The current team and set up is not worth the ticket price.

How can the club remain full time on these crowds ? It?s a real concern

It's the much maligned chairman (wrongly so) and probably the arena that will be keeping the club in its current status. Agreed though, that can't continue.

I've always been a huge critic of stay away fans as you're either a fan or you're not but even i was asking myself why I was paying £20 for the fare on show yesterday. My thoughts would have been different if I was witness to a bit of effort on the park.

In terms of subs, no one on that bench was coming on to improve the team. The boy Leslie made no impact. A poor man's McKechnie, which is saying something
