    Would you believe, Mr Zippy

    has just won the 3-18 handicap race at Newcastle. Trounced a field of 12 good handicappers.

    No but I did the next best thing and laid [Backed to lose] the two shortest favourites, one was well beaten but the other looked like it had a chance until Mr Zippy came storming home on the rails and made me a good few bob.
