    Good Team Effort

Despite a difficult first half, I thought there was a decent committed performance from all.
Whatever happened in the half time dressing room certainly worked?again ! Maybe produce before kick off next match ?!
Diakite frustrated with losing possession too often and I thought maybe should have been subbed early on. Mulumby, with the Skipper responsibility, showed some unusual maturity, but maybe too many over cautious back/sideways passes. A brave appointment by Mason, but clearly worked.

Stunning save from Wildsmith-must have helped his confidence.
Bielek impressed again (a better CH partnership with Philips) and Campbell?s attacking efforts inspired.
    Grant, Heggebo and Styles excellent.
Price worked hard and clearly is trying to return to his early season form.
Mikey’s presence attracted their inevitable defensive attention.

Great to leave the ground in good spirits, particularly following a somewhat dour half time reflection. Well done Baggies.

The same performance must be evident next match.
    Please.

Indeed Db buddy. Plenty of empty seats around us.
No doubt the Friday pm KO and TV coverage contributed, but the underlying issues evident.

Made for a better atmosphere in the end Dubbs. Far less people to whinge and I got straight to the bar in the Sportsman for celebratory beers after. I could get used to it 😎 .

It was great to go up 2-0 and the loud singing from the crowd made it an enjoyable experience.
Those who weren't there will regret not going but works do's etc have an effect for a friday night match for sure.

Good sum up Prando. Replace Diakite with Mowatt and Wildsmith with Griffiths and I feel this is our best starting line up but whilst team selection certainly plays it's part, it's also about confidence and attitude. The second half performances against Swansea, Southampton and now Sheffield prove that they do have enough ability to get better results but it's about consistency and playing with that intent from the start. Hopefully, they can now start to do this and belatedly kick on.

Another issue, of course, is the lack of depth in the squad and an injury to any of our midfield or forward players especially could cost us. Maybe there might be some movement in the January window but in the meantime I'd like to see Dike for one given more game time in lieu of a currently poor Maja and maybe Ollie Bostock an opportunity instead of an underwhelming Illing Junior. Hopefully Collyer will return from injury to give us more options in midfield too.

Good second half but they did miss a few chances in the first half so could have been different. Now it?s got to be 3 points at Hull!

Love how Heggebo is doing so well!
