    That Sunderland Goal

Football match fixing has plagued the sport for decades as it gone away? Match fixing is certainly not new but has evolved so I still see it as a thing and watching this 'own' goal today makes you wonder how easy it is to fool everyone into thinking it was a 'miscalculation' while the player acts distraught.

This own goal could be interpreted as a 'howler' but are you sure about that???

Just striker's instinct in a defender's position, so never going to end well..

This is getting ridiculous - take a look at the 'own goal' that Swansea conceded last night - a carbon copy of that Sunderland goal last week. This own goal was as fake as f00k- i suspect the asian betting markets were getting a bumper pay day

I may be naive but I do not believe that either of the goals mentioned were a result of match fixing. Just football!

Me neither Phil TBH. Someone won a second million on the National Lottery with odds of 24 trillion to 1 of doing so.

It?s just football as Leicester says.

There’s too much money in football, especially the Premier League, for it to be corruption free. Money attracts crooks, the more money there is in something, the more crooks will home in.

agreed Ketts. Those 2 goals Ive highlighted look suss to me but the culprits feign such surprise and bewilderment that it convinces many to think 'no way could he have done it deliberately' This Burgess bloke who scored the own goal for Swansea as got form, he's already scored own goals 3 times this season!
