    Big Dan Burn

Will be out for up to 5 weeks.

    Broken rib and punctured lung.

Do questions have to be asked of our medical staff - they sent him back on and he was obviously elbowed in that side straight away.

When he came on he looked pale and whilst I know they have to take his views into account, surely they should have just over-ridden his and said he needed to be subbed.

I just knew hed cracked a rib. He was kneed in the ribs and it wasnt totally accidental IMO.

Big chance for Schar to step in - a great replaceent.

It's sad to see BDB get such a brutal injury.

How can that tackle be considered anything other than reckless and dangerous? The lad was off the ground & out of control?

By it's very definition it's a straight red.

Not sure the lads would have even won against 10 men but once again VAR didn't call the ref to reconsider his clearly Unjustifiably lenient decision.

Very very dangerous play. A punctured lung is seriously dangerous. Should he have continued much longer he could have suffered a collapse of the lung which could have been life threatening.

I'm glad he got to hospital swiftly and treated. I wish him a speedy recovery.
