    Falkirk

    Reasonably impressed.
    Great shape, never in trouble

First game at Dens since Hibs.

Much better organised, players seem to be understanding their roles a bit better but it's still negative as fck and hard to watch. Still giving the ball away far too easily.

Clean sheet was very welcome but in truth Falkirk weren't up to much.

Need a striker badly in January, no threat from Hays or Acqah at all. Murray needs help up front.

I thought Hay played decent but not much threat.

Like Motherwell game we had 2 or 3 very decent performances and this time it was enough.

Murray suspended and Congrieve looks like he may well be out as well, Elvis dosent have his troubles to seek, bare bones stuff.

If we can get out of Dodge without losing to Killie I think the coach can be relatively satisfied with the points total up to January.

It's up to Nelms and co to deliver 5 players that will improve his choices of personnel and tactics.....not just bodies in the building for the sake of it.

Luke and big billy were excellent especially dealing with Graham,Hamilton good in 2nd half and I think there is a player in hay.Murray looks well off it but happy we the commitment of the whole team.
McCracken is a bit shaky at times tho but needs a bit more self belief.

We should be looking to beat Killie but a draw wouldn't be too shabby, follow that up with a draw at the sh1t tip and we can start thinking safety might be a possibility. I'm not confident the right players will be signed in January, if Pressley is saying that a striker isn't a priority it makes you wonder.

I'm reasonably confident we will stay up.

Livvy now 4/6 to finish bottom.

    Killie and Dundee 3/1.

Obviously I don't think Elvis was the right choice but I actually think he has got quite a lot out of what he's had to work with.

Also think you can see the coaching that's been getting done .....are his tactics fairly one dimensional.....yes.....but as I've said I'd like to see what he can do with more options.

Crowd got behind the team towards the end and I think it helped them over the line.

Some of the comments on various sites are just pure hatred.....it's like people have a fixed opinion about a manager and can't be seen to change opinion.

Beating Killie would be great but it its difficult with the players out.....here's hoping though. 🤞

I'm less certain that we'll finish bottom two. Long way to go and OK we might strengthen in January but so might Livingston, Kilmarnock and any others that are likely to get sucked into the dogfight - St. Mirren, DABs and Falkirk. It'll be down to who strengthens best.

I've tempered my dislike of Pressley just a smidge, still don't want him as our manager and would prefer he had nothing to do with January recruitment - just too negative and talks some absolute sh1te in interviews. However the players do seem to be gelling better and look like they're starting to understand the negativity he's intilling in them. That might just prevent us struggling too badly in the post split scramble for survival points.

Lots of players out but Kilmarnock are not a good side. I'd take a draw and doubt any of us wouldn't have been happy with 4 points from Falkirk and Kilmarnock if asked this time last week.

I thought we would win one of them, now we have won the first everybody gets greedy ( a good thing imho ) but the Doon by Xmas brigade have it well wrong.

I don't think Elvis will have much to do with who we sign........but I really want a couple of Jordan McGhee seasoned Scottish pros type signings.....I have grave doubts we will get them.

1 PT v Killie good, defeat not as disastrous as it would have been without beating Falkirk, a win and the pressure eases fairly significantly.

Pretty sure we will end up bottom 2 unless we can add goals in January.
That might have been the case whoever was in charge but we would probably be better to watch under docherty.
Saying that we lost a few decent players from last season.
