    Bany Out

Is it guys with white sticks who do our recruitment. Now Bany out for four months!

Dike - Wallace - Bany ( must be 75K a week in wages ) plus Maja who looks like he?s eaten too many pies! Our treatment room must have revolving doors FFS

Then we have Nestor who talks a good story
( NOT ) with his footballing model and employed a novice who has never managed before on a three year contract!

    😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ive got some sympathy for the club on this one. Every transfer comes with risk. He could have been the next Mahrez. Instead he is the next Dike.

He had 80 odd games under his belt before he came to us, with no signs that he was made of glass.

I watched a podcast with Ben Foster on medicals and it’s interesting that there is no such thing as failing or passing a medical. They give a risk score based on a number of factors and the club then make a decision.

Diakhite would have been high risk because he did his cruciate a couple of years before joining us. However the risk is low as he is a free transfer and the club were skint.

It is possible that they knew Bany had some underlying issues and took the risk. It’s more likely that they didnt know and thought they were getting a young talented lad entering his prime footballing years.

    Just unlucky I guess.

Take all your points Matt but with the cost of living crisis, kids not having enough money to go to games - the biggest loser is the business who pays the wage. In our financial position - sadly it?s always us. Dike and Wallace are the highest earners on 30K approx each - I am past sympathy for both ( Dike especially ) and come June hope they are booted out the door along with Maja and Wildsmith. Now we have Bany!

Players like Bostock should be the future and get minutes to boost their worth ie like Fellows!

I think we have a history of unhealthy signings who pass the medical with flying colours only, never to be seen again playing for Albion.
Is it purely down to bad luck? Don't think so. Not to mention our very good pension plan for all hasbeen players to sign with the Albion just to top up your approaching retirement plan.
