Manchester City are considering a move for Crystal Palace?s Marc Gu?hi, with the south London club expected to demand around ?40m for the defender who is out of contract in the close season.
Palace?s fee for their captain is ?5m more than the price offered to Liverpool when the Merseyside club came close to signing him last summer. This reflects the disruption to Palace?s season if Gu?hi does depart and their need to replace the 25-year-old.
