Summer signings revisited

After the last 8 games or so which has seen more players we signed getting game time the summer window looks a bit better.

The only two - who were still good additions - that at times you wonder are Perri (though he still has his good moments) and Nmecha (Ali has qualities but not a patch on DCL).

The relatively new physio/medical team deserve credit too for keeping DCL and others pretty healthy.

In the last few games James Justin and Borneauw look like big squad upgrades too and mean we look like we are developing a decent bit of depth.

Wonder if Meslier and Aaronson will depart this window.

Aaronson was one I wanted gone but he’s slowly changing my mind, meslier and Perri can both go as far as I’m concerned, both are good shot stoppers but that’s all, poor decision making and poor with crosses.

Aaronson seems to be working hard on his weaknesses - he is a lot stronger on the ball and in the tackle. He also seems calmer in possession too.

Slightly gutted his cracking goal wasn?t a winner last weekend.

Aaronson work rate makes a lot of good things happen for other players. Think he?s at least as good as half of the players at his position in the prem
