Thread: Stags at home.

    Stags at home.

    FA Cup Draw.

The Clarets v Mansfield Town 4th Round FA Cup tie will be played at Turf Moor. Ties to be played between 13th & 16th February.

The Stags at home will not be financially lucrative but does at least provide Burnley Football Club with a great chance of making the 5th Round.

No doubt Nigel Clough the Stags manager will be looking to repeat the upset he caused at Bramhall Lane where he knocked the Blades out in the 3rd Round.

Time we had a decent Cup run. Come on Ash!

I remember on an away trip to Chesterfield coming across their local rivalry with the Stags. The Mansfield bra. No cups, no support. However does it stay up! As BT says this is a great opportunity to progress to the last 16. We may already be doomed to relegation but why not give the FA Cup a real go. We’ve had precious little else to cheer this season but that was a good performance v Millwall.

Great tie for us but not for them.

We must be the last side away from home any club in the lower leagues want in any cup competition

Why do clubs like Wimbledon, Lincoln and, more recently Cardiff spring to mind?

I do remember, not long ago, being delighted when we were drawn at home to Accy Stanley.
