Thread: Anyone think we might stay up?

Anyone think we might stay up?

    Hey folks,

How you all doing? Sorry for another prolonged absence, been a horrific 18 months for me and this being the 19th month aint been any better either unfortunately.

I have to say I've been really impressed with our club this season, and with how things are looking right now, obviously nowts confirmed for about another 15 points I reckon (10 wins and 10 draws for the season and we'll definitely stay up).

Anyone agree with this or do you think we might need more or less points?

Also, I've been doing some LUFC content on my youtube page for a while now and I've even recently rebranded my page name as the content is now half video gaming and half Leeds United/Football, it's kept me sane throughout a period where I just cannot get employed, financially I've been in a very dark place, so I thank Leeds United for having a good season as it has stopped me from being more depressed than I would have, had Leeds struggled this season.

    MOT!!!

Well, well, look who returned to the roost, welcome back. Sorry to hear you have had a rough time hopefully things will improve.

16 games to go, maintaining the home record is key plus a few points picked up on the road and we will be fine.

In our current form we have a chance for top 10 more than relegation

We have turned a corner that?s for sure, we just can?t seem to break away from that bottom 4, who I feel still have that chance of also turning a corner, and I feel we are only 2 bad results of being back in a crisis, our last game of the season is West Ham away, that, I fear could be pivotal.

Hope things change for you. Like you i say they will but they don't than I walk around and see other people doing it even harder which keeps me going. Please link your you tube page so people can follow you. And yes we will stay up. It's not exciting to watch like 2 RB 1 Lb 2 CB and 2 mids that can only defend you cant expect more. Clubs haven't figured us out yet as English football has never and should never be played this way.

Hello Clive? we need about 15pts from 16 games, thats sorta average relegation form, team seems to jell better and improve with every game. More chance of staying up, if we can, finances will be in a better position for next season (hoping ground expansion doesn?t impinge)

    Oz,

Have to disagree. Many teams seem to think English foot ball consists of parking the bus and hoping for a goal against the run of play

Boring stuff. I rather like our current style of play. Teams will adjust but it?s nots like they don?t know what we are lining up as. We are pretty good right now and easy to watch

good to see and hear from you Clive........
....... i know your going through alot and things are tough right now but i'm in your corner as we all are on here for you.

as for the season....... hopefully we can progress position wise but anything can happen in PL........ many changes in form already...... even more with teams battling relegation or in European contention....... so i expect more volatility........ look at Villa who were in 19th place and after 5 games now sit in 3rd place.
almost like a Championship style PL this season, so not such a closed shop results wise...... more dramas to come but hopefully no off field uncertainty for us to become distracted........ with Farke keeping us competitive till the end.

......... keep checking in on here as well.
    Gill xx
