    Most premier league wins

Eddie is creeping up to that top slot.

Should have it with some space (we hope) by end of the season.

Fuck me, we've endured some shite managers here like, haven't we!

Fantastic achievement for Eddie when he gets the record.

Aye fair play to him. He's a man that goes about his business and quietly and in an understated manner. Not the sensational big headed arrogance of most managers. A man who takes ownership and responsibility for the negatives whilst lavishing his players and the the back room team with the praise of every success.

I guess it says volumes about the "premiership" era that Pardew is a comfortable 4th best

The rest didn't hang around too long. Rafa aside understandable. Had Rafa got the backing he required to move the club on then we'd have seen more in the Win column.

Not to be though with his hard headed integrity it was never going to long term appointment. I'm astonished it happened at all. Staying through the Chimpo season is something I will always respect Rafa for. Muchas Gracias senor!

In terms of overall prem wins - Eddie is 14th, joint with Roy Hodgson.

You have to be careful with stats. Eddie and Rafa?s contribution has been far greater than any other manager since Robson and Keegan.

I'd like to see the games play v win ratio for Hodgson and Cabbage.

    Legohead - 232 - 140 wins - 60%
    Hodgson managed 416 - 136 wins - 32%
    Cabbage 476 - 133 wins - 27%
    Brendan Rodgers 312 - 139 wins - 44%
    Eddie Howe 352 - 136 wins - 38%

Hodgson & Rodgers both had the vast resources of the Bin Dippers at the disposal.
Likewise Legohead, although 60% is a great record. Even if the style is Pulis-Plus.

Head to head Arsenal - Newcastle for the 2 managers.
    Howe's managed - 165 with 105 wins - 63.6%

So head to head Howe, with less resources, a terrible starting position in squad terms has out performed Legohead by 3.6%
