    Eddie's Presser v Villa

He certainly looks more rosy cheeked and relaxed after the Spurs win.

The win, the response from the hardcore travelling fans and the players all rallying round him would have dispelled all the negative noise from loud minority of the online bed wetters and small factions in the game attending fanbase.

Irony is that he's being judged against his own overachieving high standards.

This man has taken the club from No hope to competitors across the board. As infuriatingly inconsistent this season has been in the league. That ambition to compete on all fronts is still something very different in modern times.

A little more appreciation and patience would go a hell of a long way.

    Aye.

Based on what he said, looks like Miley, Bruno and Big Joe are out - which is a massive shame.

However, does give Ramsey and Wilock a chance to have a run of games, which will benefit both of them massively - more so if we're trying to get suitors for Wilock in the summer.

I also wonder if it'll help Tonali, he'll be the main midfield man not just because Bruno is being rest.

Also - looking into contract extension for Trips. . . This I think is an Eddie failing, his almost blind loyalty to players. I love Trips, he did what nobody else was willing to do and came here, its down to him we got the likes of Bruno and Botman but, he's 35 and clearly cannot keep pace in the prem with the style we play anymore.

If it was a contract to become a coach, brilliant . . . to still be a first team player, very unsure on that.

    Agree, Jammy.

Coacing staff? Definitely. First team squad? He'll be a target for every winger in the league.

There was a bit more solidity in the Spurs match which, in part, has to be accredited to his leadership on the pitch to close out the match.
