    How many

How many more points are needed for safety, obviously our home games are where we gain points, and we look to have winnable games at home, I think we need 12 more points, trouble is I can see West Ham getting the odd surprise win, like at a field this weekend, whereas I can see us getting a few draws at home instead of the important wins, the fact that it?s in our own hands scares me, at 62 years old I?ve seen us screw up more times than I care to remember.

Adding to this we have 6 at home and 5 away, home games include wolves, Burnley, Brentford, Sunderland, Brighton and Man City where I’m expecting a loss, surely we can do it?

Answering all my own questions, wolves tonight beat villa 2-0, no game is a formality, our safety will go to the wire I feel.

To answer your question Norfolk, I think we will need 9 points more to be safe. This will mean West Ham must get 16 more points, Forest 14 more (our superior goal difference) AND Spurs 11 more. ALL 3 of the above must happen for us to go down if we get 9 more points. I think the relegation battle will go down to the wire but not for us. The reason I think that is because Spuds, florists and hammers just aren't playing well enough to ALL make a run. And we are.

I think cp is spot on.

However, I think we are going to get more than 9
