Great news for the workforce and the other two companies also involved with the Booth group.

Thing about Millmoor is concrete does deteriorate over time. The last time I was there, I sat in one of the seats and went to put my foot on the step underneath me and it just broke off, such was the poor composition of the cement and stone etc.

How long have the floodlights been encased in concrete at their base? Only a matter of time before Mother nature intervenes and they will have to come down like it or not.

As a note, concrete typically lasts between 50 and 100 years, with well-installed foundations potentially lasting much longer. While highly durable, its lifespan depends heavily on proper installation, maintenance, and environmental conditions, with factors like water infiltration and reinforced steel corrosion causing degradation over time.

Flatten the dump and build some affordable housing on there.

Or alternatively, flatten it, build a modern ground with some old fashioned atmosphere, design, without harsh lights in your face, ground sides which are not like climbing mt everest.
Hull could be chairman, build a team management like warne, get players like semi, vaulks, cheo, wiles, tavenier, frecks, team spirit,
    Get in the league.
Give the club something to think about. Because the length of time it takes will be as long as this lot or whoever, to do the same ending.

The housing is not a bad option, true.

TLC, there was recent talk of the Council taking possession and doing just that.

Just thinking of the land, they would probably have to dig down 20-30 feet before they removed all of the contaminated soil that has soaked up just about everything over the years. What cost would that be? Then there's the task and more cost of having to refill it before any foundations could be laid.

In real danger of tossing away all the good years. And that is a fact.

And as for the lights, one example how Stewart really is not bothered about fans.

I think it is great if Ron can save the firm. Even if Hull co only use a majority of the site. Many jobs will be saved. Is that not more important, not as if anyone would build there……
