Burn and Trippier starting again is a nightmare after wednesday but of course no surprise why not start the back 4 who were great at Chelsea ? Poor Woltemade lumped in midfield yet again and Gordon up front again no surprise but a total joke.

Newcastle XI: Ramsdale, Hall, Burn, Botman, Trippier, Joelinton, Ramsey, Barnes, Gordon, Elanga, Woltemade.
Subs: Pope, Thiaw, A Murphy, Livramento, Willock, J Murphy, Neave, Osula, Wissa.
Without Bruno, there's plenty of work-ethic but zero creativity so I can see why Woltermade is in; Xhaka will be all over him, though. Disappointed Tino isn't starting but I think taking Thiaw out is probably wise.
Shame we don't have a striker to take advantage of Ballard being out but maybe Gordon is that man.

I really don't get it with Woltemade. He must be pretty pissed off surely??
I would have thought this game was made for Willock's energy but, like I say, zero creativity. Not that Big Nick is specifically a creative player but he's got a nice lay-off and searching pass in him.
I fancy that clumpy, gurning cunt O'Nien for a red today.![]()

That banner is brilliant!
Ahh, Elanga, man.
Great run but, having got there, should have got it on target.
SMBs timewasting already.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssss
Superb control and calmness under pressure.
