    Not convinced Barnes will go to the WC but if he did.

    You could conceivably end up in a situation where you have Hall/Barnes on the left, Tino/Gordon on the right and Burn in middle of defence for England.

    Would rather he'd taken the Scotland option, personally.

    Pleased for Barnes, he deserves his call up. However, I don't know if he'll keep his place if Eze is fit. The lad is doing really well in Germany and in great form.

    That said, if Barnes bangs in a few more goals over the last 7 and Eze's fitness is in question he's in with a shout.
