    The future is bright 🌟
    ---------

Muawiya Ghanem also won player of the tourament, we got him from West Brom last year - persuading him to join us over Arsenal and Chelsea.

This is def positive, get them use to winning early.

I know our academy reccently hasn't been brilliant (well for a long time) but if we can build at this level, it bodes well for us in about 5-7 years.

    That's fantastic to see.

About time we had a decent Academy. The mackems have-to our shame and their credit-had an excellent Academy for yeard. (well, I suppose it's all relative but it's been miles ahead of ours for years).

    Yeah indeed, great to see!

The mark of a good club is a decent academy. Once again, it related to stability and consistency. Bring through quality youth either to filter in to the first team squad but also generates potential revenue for lads that don't quite make it to the first team.

Move-over, it's a great benefit for the region and Geordie Pride. Local lads dream of playing for the toon, as we all did, however, seeing youth products progress through the academy and go on to become career professionals in the sport they love at any/all levels.

After decades of decline and neglect the club in the last 4 yrs has seen consistency and stability on the footballing side of the club to great benefit.

    Long may it continue!

    Well done to the kids.
Good to see the future Collocini and Hall in the front row - looks like the left side of defence is covered for the future 😂
