    Delap

Rumours swirling a lot last few days that Delap's agent has been reaching out to Newcastle, quite aggressively.

Wants us to go back in for him - doing the whole regret he went to Chelsea spiel.

Oddly - the agent seems to be sacrificing himself, to a degree - saying he was the reason that Delap went there, that he as the agent pushed for it as he felt it would support Delap more etc. Delap wanted Newcastle apperently.

Obviously the agent would get another big pay off if Delap moved.

He'd be an upgrade on Wissa.

Mind, I just did a shit which would be an upgrade on Wissa, so, y'knaa.

(for a moment, I felt a bit bad typing that because you could argue he hasn't had a fair chance...but everyone-including Eddie-is a target in this absolute shit-show of a season and that 'liking' of the mackem motm award is unforgivable)

As a Wissa replacement / Wilson replacement as he was tipped to be last season when he was leaving Ipswich yes I'd take him.

The price would have to be around the 30m mark with Wissa being sold for around the same money.

If Wissa and Osula both go for 30m a piece that's 30m on Delay and 30m in the pot for the club to hopefully go and get Aghehowa.

Aghehowa is the perfect profile for Eddie's style of play.

The more I watch Samu's matches for Porto the more I'm convinced he's ideal.

He's suffered an ACL injury will miss the rest of the season and the World Cup so there could be a deal to be done.
