Something we lack (I'm sure others will have a view), a "bite your legs" disruptor. Gnonto might be regarded as such but for whatever reason he doesn't get game time, and then......?

I mean the likes of Alioski, not always as physical as the great Hunter, but incredibly good at f00king the minds of the opposition.

We NEED a player who can make it "uncomortable", bonding with the crowd almost moreso than with his team mates, being more than just a player, a talisman for the team. Been a while since we had that.

I think that Bijol has some potential in that regard. You see flashes of it at times. Likewise for Ampadu. He's always "controlling the intensity". I agree with your take on Gnonto.

I think one of the reasons we don't have the type player is that it goes against Farke's style of player. I also think that since this is first year back in prem we have to control the emotions. Established teams have more of a luxury in that area.

We have a decent squad but Farke doesn’t use it.

Tanaka biased the first half at the weekend and was MoM. He would get miles more minutes at most other teams.

Gnonto is excellent but largely ignored.

Nmecha is decent.

Dan James is decent.

James Justin as back up to the full back is excellent.

Two reasonably good keepers.

Lots of decent kids in the reserves including Chambers but no chance of them playing.

Lots out on loan because Farke won’t play them and or doesn’t rate them.

The idea we have a bare bones squad is nonsense.

I wasn't suggesting we were "bare bones", just that we don't have that "get under their skin" type of player that is a effective at disrupting mentally as well as physically

Wasn?t suggesting you were.

I agree with Spaldy that Bijol has a bit of the don?t fcuk with me attitude as do Rodon and Ampadu. Think Stach isn?t to be messed with not Struijk either but in a different way.

The disruptor style is hard these days as likely to get too many cards.
