Omg let's not start on lee Clark, he hasn't done anything wrong ,. He has been a fantastic player and a fantastic manager in the past , and what he has achieved as a manger and a player , will eclipse anything Artell or Revel will ever do as mangers and those names are the 2 that keep cropping up on here, I for one hope Lee stays and I think he will , he speaks well he is full of pride and passion , he will have lots of contacts within the game , you can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear ,, and when the big earners are gone , who have taken a large amount of money from the club for very ,very little in return , then we can move in the right direction again . Going down isn't good , nobody wanted it and nobody expected it , but we have a platform to start again .get in good players, for league 2/1 because what ever people on here think , playing for rotherham in league 2 will be a big pull to most players , ground and wages we will offer , for the division , . Bigger clubs than us have gone through it , leeds ,sheff utd , Sunderland, Portsmouth. Etc . . You can come back bigger and stronger , so it's lee in for me , a new direction . With a proud manager in charge .

He can`t lose really,if/when we go down,it`s not his fault, still think it`s a relly weird appointment,we have literally dragged him out the football wilderness to come and save our season !
Is he any good....? Who knows,I doubt we will find out this season, then what do we do for next season, probably in the 4th division, you can forget the likes of Revs, and probably even Artell,so if he wants the job,I suspect it will be his.

Insane appointment. And we wonder why people call us toytown and tinpot?
As I said before: would you go near a tradesman who's not been asked to do a job for ten years?
Nothing against the bloke personally and he's absolved of the blame for this catastrophic season.

Have you ever thought maybe he didn't want to be in the game ,, and now for him the time is right again ,, he will have forgotten more about the game , than most on here know about the game ,.

Let's hope he remembers some of it pretty damn quickly then.

im not being funny but what sort of platform have we got to start with next season, 19-20 players out of contract or will be leaving thats a massive issue to who ever is in charge, we will have one of the highest season ticket prices in league 2 , **** training facilities, a stadium the football club doesn?t own, owners who don?t appear to be bothered, we probably won?t be paying high wages after what?s happened in the last few years, so apart from all that it?s looking rosy for next season. If nothing changes the slide will continue.

Lee Clark has done nothing wrong in terms of taking a job with the Millers, trying to keep us in L1, handling media questions on player motivation, team plans/aims, etc.

However, he's been out of work for a long time and hadn't worked in English football for much longer. He's not really given the sort of new manager 'bounce' that would indicate he's able to get something from nothing. The risk of him leaving if he were to stay on and do well is likely very high.

We'd do far better by hoarding as many lucky charms as we can collectively find and hope that MK Plastics fail to go up, then marching up to big Tony's gaff and begging him to drive to MK to offer whatever it takes to get Warney back here. Then... invest.

    I can dream, anyway.

Failing that, with the rebuild we need in terms of squad numbers, rebuilding for a different division, thinking about the future, it has to be someone who's fully backed by fans and management, and someone who understands L1/L2 football intimately. I think we may need to look to someone above our starting point in August too, or we're just opening ourselves up to the 'do well, jump ship' issue.

You can't blame Clark. He has been given a massive task.We all know under the present ownership nothing will change because we will not attract any decent manager to come here. There has been no improvement in training ground facilities that has been constantly criticised by a number of previous managers. Most players we bring in are amazed how bad it is compared to what they have previously experienced, hence the enormous injury toll.We need a complete changeover at this club with a PLAN !!!!!!!!!!!
