will we finnish bottom

A few weeks ago i remember saying I think Port vale will overtake us. They have 6 games to go and we have 4 and with the a lot of players deciding they don't want to play for us now LC has called them out, we are very likely to lose all 4 games. I think finishing bottom is a huge psychological issue what do others think?

If we found a way to finish 25th, it would make zero difference. We start next season the same whatever happens now. Crawley missed out by a point last time but now sit below Shrewsbury who were bottom. The real worry is that there may be an expectation that we become a front runner purely because we've just gone down/have a 'nice ground'/etc... the reality could be very different.

An interesting question.

We need something to smile about for sure. If that was suddenly winning 4 games I think people would go berserk! Imagine, “too late”.

And it would need 4 games.

However, probably 4 defeats is just as bad as finishing bottom. Some of those players are hurting, you can see that. No one wants a bottom finish on the CV. Like as not any other club down there which gets the confirm as down, more than likely will perk up with pressure off….it does happen.

It may happen to us. Nombe may now stop blazing shots away, we nick a win.

I do see as being bottom being an issue……sadly to misquote MR. Smith, finishing bottom only matters to the fans.

And Port Vale might run out of steam hopefully. They played on Tuesday night and are playing again tonight, away at Peterborough. They've got a game every 3 days between now and the end of the season.

At the beginning of the season I thought there is NORWAY we will FINNISH bottom.

But after the SCANDI- lous performance of our players I think we will.

I don’t know about Finnish bottom, but I’ve always quite liked a Swedish bottom.
