If he was investing, probably only put ?500k of his own money in, get the rest through debt - never put your own money in!

Debt markets are pretty robust at the moment despite Trump, so reckon it would be doable if you have co-investors that can pony up with you. Depends how much TS would want for the club & ground or whether you bought club with a long term lease secured for the stadium.
