    Next season

Hopefully things will change for us in the new season but if it doesn't and it's the same old stuff when would you pull the plug on Eddie, how many losses will it take to convince the owners ?

First 5 /7 games should be an indication? But that is just my speculation, what do I know about the owners thinking.

I think it won't take long.

He'll be given maybe first 10 games and then if we're not firing, he'll be fired.

    .It's a nightmare scenario, really.

If he does start poorly and gets sacked, it's such a bad look for anyone thinking about becoming our next manager. Plus, if we get shot after the first few games, we're severely limiting our choice of manager.

We're not such a big pull that we could tempt a top manager who's just built/added to his squad at his current club to just up sticks and leave a handful of games into a new aseason.

Unfortunately, we probably need to do it now-and I mean unfortunately for Eddie if this happens and for us if it doesn't and we end up doing it after a few games.

If we keep him and it works out, then great. That's my preferred scenario. If we feel a change is needed, we need to act now so that we can attract a better calibre of manager who can bring in the players he wants.

Worst case is we lose the first few games and get shot in September or October. But, if we lose the first few or haven't shown any sign of changing our approach then absolutely we should let him go. We've gone backwards and can't have another season like this one.
