  • One early wicket tomorrow and they'll fold like a pack of cards.
    Australia strong favourites.

      • Quite.
        It's also a mental thing.
They are playing a fourth innings on a three day old wicket which the commentators were saying looked fine for batting.
Conviction that you can do it and application could make it interesting.
Not that England have the players with the mental strength to play it as a war of attrition.

            • FFS, driving across Glasgow listening to those final overs. Leach 1*, Stokes has balls of steel. Edgbaston 05, Parkhead 2014, the World Cup final, and now this. One of these brinkmanship days my ancient old heart will give out.

                • Whopping mistake by the umpire at the end, how could he not see that lbw was plumb?

Maybe the Ockers should have reviewed it. Oh, hang on....

That was stupid by the Aussies but it shows up the flaws in the video umpire rules. Instead of the players deciding what should be reviewed, the video umpire should decide by himself when he thinks the on pitch umpire has made a mistake.

                        • How about getting rid of the umpires and using technology for every decision. The umpires in this series have been shocking.

It’s a very difficult job, but one of the umpires had SIX decisions overturned on review.

That LBW review at the end wasn’t even close.
                              Desperation.
Ultimately cost them as they could’ve reviewed the LBW on Stokes when 2 runs were still needed.

I don't fancy this england side chasing anything above 200 even on a day 2/3 pitch
                                What do you know!!

Geeso, that’s why we love Test Cricket. That was Headingley ‘81, Edgbaston ‘05 and Cardiff ‘09 over again. Due to work I had to put my phone away at 3.30, at 286-9.

                                That’s the game
