Labour lose a fairly safe seat in Runcorn in what I believe is the first UK by-election since last Julys GE.
I know by-elections are historically meant to be bloody noses for the sitting party in power, but Labour should be worried about this result so early into Starmers reign.
The Labour front bench will all be out today telling us how they are listening to the voters and that they are different to the tories/reform.
