I see that Saudi teenager has wrangled herself a result.

If I'm not mistaking she flew out of her home country to Thailand en route to Australia where she was hoping to seek asylum.

The Thai authorities stopped her and put her up in a hotel where she barricaded herself in a room and used social media to highlight how she would be in danger if she was deported home.

The Canadians come to the rescue and fly her first class over to them where she is greeted by the foreign secretary and given asylum.

Must admit, I'm not convinced. She's 18, she's probably at it. Wouldn't be surprised if she crashed dads car or something and didn't want to face the music. Just shows the power of social media.
